What's Spiritual Sight Worth?

A friend of mine was recently reflecting on how she raised over 1K in 48 hours for a sweet stray kitten to have eye surgery. As she did she sensed the spirit saying to her that the spiritual vision of his daughters was even more important to him. When she shared this with me, I imagined the kitten stumbling through life and how vulnerable it would be to predators with only one functioning eye. Then I saw a crouching lion ready to pounce on it. I heard: "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8)This wasn’t about the kitten anymore: I knew the Father was sharing his heart for his daughters to have their spiritual senses trained so that they wouldn’t be vulnerable to the enemy. 

Fix Your Eyes on the Unseen

It can be easy to devalue things that aren’t visible to our physical senses, but the Bible teaches that it is the unseen realm that is eternal and lasting. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18)

This is where I work: the territory of the unseen realm. I’ve devoted myself to creating a spiritual community where we can grow and exercise our spiritual senses together. In this world of fake news and AI generated material, we can’t even tell what's really anymore! We must hone our power of discernment and tap into divine, spiritual intelligence. We need to lock arms with others who are standing firm in the truth. Especially in these uncertain times, I want to be in the company of spiritual pioneers who will not compromise kingdom culture and realities.

Fruit that Will Last

Over the decades, I have learned that focusing on the unseen with my clients and loved ones bears physical fruit: bodies healed, people released into purpose, relationships restored, anxiety overcome, depression conquered, healing gifts unlocked, lonely women in thriving communities, and so much more. After all, we were created to torment the enemy, not the other way around.

So I will continue being a tour guide in the territory of the unseen realm, and trust God to send people who will see the value in this, partner with the work, and sow into it—both for themselves and their community. If this resonates with you, you're the one who is like the man who sold everything to buy the field to get the hidden (unseen) treasure.
